Featured Photography Membership Program - User Agreement

This Featured Photographer User Agreement details the rights and regulations for participating photographers. This program is designed for professional photographers who are commissioned to take photographs by a client for a fee. This may be portrait photography, stock photography, commercial photography, or any type of photography where a fee is exchanged for a photo service. Photographers who take photos for personal use, charging no fee to a client, are welcome to take photographs on our public preserves at no cost.

  1. Payment is $1,000 for 12 months.
  2. The annual fee entitles participating photographers to conduct professional photo shoots on Natural Lands’ landscapes open to the public. These locations are:

  4. Once a year, we will link to our featured photographer program page on social media.
  5. Featured photographers may have one social media post dedicated to them on the Natural Lands Facebook page during their time in the program, to be agreed upon by the Media Relations Manager and the photographer.
  6. Participating photographers agree to wear their photographer card on a name tag (both of which will be provided), which they must display at all times (like a press pass) when they are working on any Natural Lands’ preserve. They must present their card to any Natural Lands staff member when asked.
  7. Participating photographers understand they are not entitled to exclusive use of the property and that the property will remain open to the public. Photographers must be respectful of other visitors.
  8. This agreement pertains to still photography. Filming and drone photography on our preserves is prohibited except by special arrangement. Photographers who wish to film or use drones on the preserve should contact Natural Lands for details.
  9. Participating photographers shall be responsible for all of the actions and activities of their party (photographer, clients, and guests). The photographer agrees to release and forever discharge Natural Lands Trust, Inc., Philadelphia Conservationists, Inc., and their servants, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability of any nature and or any and all actions and causes of actions, suits, debits, accounts, bonds, covenants, contracts, agreements, judgments, claims, and demands of whatsoever nature in law or in equity arising out of, from, or due to the activity indicated below.
    1. The photographer further agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Natural Lands Trust, Inc., Philadelphia Conservationists, Inc., their agents, employees, servants, successors and assigns from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to any persons, firms, or corporations in connection with our actions on these premises.
    2. The photographer further agrees to make financial restitution for any damage to the property, caused by the photographer and/or the photographer’s guests and their use of the property.
  10. Considerations of public safety and the protection of the natural resources of the preserves that Natural Lands owns and manages take precedence over any of the photographer’s activities. Therefore photographers will obey the following regulations:
    1. No more than 10 people (not including the photographer) may attend the photography session. For groups larger than 10, please contact us in advance.
    2. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the property at any time.
    3. Nudity is prohibited.

    6. Photo shoots may not involve large props such as furniture or tents.
    7. Photographers and their clients must stay at least 50 feet away from all buildings designated as “private.”
    8. Photographers may bring no more than 4 stands (this includes lighting rigs, tripods, or other equipment) designed to hold cameras and lighting equipment.
  11. Photographers will follow all the rules of the property that the public must follow, including:
    1. Stay on designated trails and mowed openings.
    2. All dogs must be leashed. (Dogs are not permitted at Stoneleigh.)
